Final placements for final year students take place at the end of the second year. Companies are assigned spots during final placements based on a democratic slotting procedure. In the month of January, the procedure will begin. Students who receive offers during lateral placements will be signed out of the placements process and unavailable for final placements. If a student receives an offer, they will be signed out of the placement process.
IIM Kozhikode 137 recruiters, 51 of whom are new recruiters, took part in the event for the 2020-21 Batch. The median and average incomes were unchanged from the previous year, while the average CTC of the top 50% of students increased by 8.1 percent to 28.9 LPA. About 29% of the students who took part in the study received PPOs/PPIs, confirming the prevalent assumption that internships and case competitions are effective means to further one’s career.
