Pre-Placement talks
Companies can use a pre-placement presentation to educate students about their company, vision, work culture, and available jobs and possibilities, followed by a Q&A session.
Schedule
The dates for the selection process are listed in the “Calendar” section of this page for each year. Companies are invited to campus at their leisure, and the time slot is determined after consultation with the Student Placements Committee.
Final placement process
Students interested in working with the company must apply and submit their resumes through the Student Placements Committee. A resume-based shortlisting and one or more rounds of personal interviews are usually part of the selection process. Offers must be communicated to candidates through the Student Placements Committee, including details on the role, location, remuneration, and other applicable terms and conditions. The Institute’s placement regulations control the placement process.
Post-placements
When a company makes an offer as part of the campus placement process, the candidate has a certain period of time to accept or reject the offer. When a candidate accepts an offer, they opt out of the placement process and are no longer included in the pool of applicants available to employers.
The candidates are given the job on the condition that they complete the course.
After that, it is up to the HR managers at the different organizations to lead candidates through the induction and joining process.
