What Is an Activity Quota?

An activity quota is a set of sales-related tasks that a salesperson must complete in a certain amount of time. A salesperson may be required to make a specific number of outbound calls, send a certain number of emails to potential clients, or submit a given number of statements of work in order to meet an activity quota. The quota is usually not based on a specific revenue need, but rather on the activities that lead to a sale being made.
