  • These goals should be realistic and achievable. It would be best to focus on your experiences, expertise, and building capacity.

  • Try to relate how these short term goals will help you achieve your long term goals.

  • The candidate should also emphasize the experience that makes them realistic goals.

  • There shouldn’t be any beating around the bush, be specific and on point. The candidate shouldn’t sound too ambiguous or too vague.

  • Try not to include academics or activities that will not help achieve your goals. Also, the candidate can make it specific to the academic institution.

  • The time period will usually be 1-3 years after your MBA.
