What are the role and responsibilities of Supply chain Finance Manager?

Financial Supply chain Manager are responsible for looking at the financial processes and aspects involved in the supply chain and logistics department of Operations. It involves maintaining a record of payments and receivables in the supply chain and problems related to the working capital Management. The detailed description of a Supply Chain Finance Manager is given below:

• Assist the business in the financial processes like Operation Plan Finances Projections, Quarterly Financial Forecasts etc.
• Manage accruals and payables on monthly, quarterly and yearly bases for all the processes involved from production to the delivery of the product.
• Drive consistent and accurate reporting for VCP, deflation, variable/base costs, project execution, and margins on a monthly basis
• Ascertain the working capital management for the department and keep check on the figures.
• Provide assistance in the processes of Inventory Management, Accounting of various assets and processes.
• Conduct regular Internal audits and provide support to the company during the External Audits.
