LRDI is the most challenging CAT section due to its unpredictability and increasing hardness.
Some basic strategies to follow while attempting the section are as follows -
- Always skim through the section once. This will help you choose easy sets or sets you have some understanding or familiarity about. It will help you save time since LRDI sets take 10-15 mins to solve at an average.
- If you can not solve the set you are working on, and if you have already given 5 minutes to it. Then, leave the set and move forward to the new set.
- Always solve the set you are familiar with and try to solve it as fast as possible. This will help you in saving time as well as it will increase your confidence.
- In the last few minutes of the remaining time, try to solve the new set and at least attempt 1-2 questions.
