They inquired about my political leanings because I was in charge of the group discussion. It was a completely random question, and it got me into a pickle. I wanted to put forward a balanced opinion. When the interviewer asked me to choose between the Congress and the Bhartiya Janata Party, I chose the best of both worlds. She did comment that I was being too politically correct, but I could explain to her how being opinionated can stifle societal growth and how one must be open to all schools of thought. Then she inquired about the other interviews I had attended besides SIBM Pune. She asked me to rank them in order of preference and explain why. I decided to answer with my heart this time because I had already taken a safe route with the previous question.

Result: Shortlisted Rank 282
