The most significant academic achievement would be the work we had carried out in our pre-final year project titled “XYZ ”. It encompassed all the learnings we had imbibed in our course.
We decided to carry out a project incorporating our learnings in a socially conscious project. The floods in recent years further strengthened our resolve. We developed an online web portal to model the rainwater and harvesting scenario in each district pertaining to the states of our country.
We identified areas of high rainfall and places where water harvesting systems were at their best and provided mechanisms to transport water to drought-hit areas in case of any natural calamities.
The course provided us with an opportunity to link academic learnings to societal problems. complemented our learning to the fullest and ensured we had a lot of takeaways from this course.
