Depending on your interest, an MBA in Marketing can be both challenging and rewarding.
Here are some of the things I learned during my MBA program:
• Marketing is one of those fields where you are always challenged to think outside the box and come up with new ideas and solutions.
• You get to read some fantastic case studies that are, to put it mildly, inspiring.
• If you have good people skills and are engaging and outgoing, you might want to choose a career in sales, which can be highly rewarding if you have a feel for it.
• You’ll have the opportunity to work on some fascinating projects and give presentations.
• You’ll also get some wonderful case studies on competing businesses and how one company conquered or captured the market by doing something unique that the others hadn’t considered. As a result, it will be highly intriguing and will aid in the development of strategic thinking skills.
• As with other organizations, you’ll have a lot of exposure to digital marketing.
In short, if you enjoy intuitive and strategy-oriented subjects, go for it!
