LogoutThe CAT exam does allow for the use of a calculator. However, this does not imply that you are permitted to bring your own calculator to the exam. When you click on the calculator icon, you will be able to use an on-screen calculator that will appear. It is not a scientific calculator but rather a straightforward calculator for general computations.
The CAT Exam’s on-screen calculator only supports a few fundamental functions: addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication. It also contains a few more features, such as the Reciprocal button, Square root button, and so on.
Calculators aren’t particularly handy for the CAT exam. One major difficulty is that you will have to enter data using the mouse, which will take much longer than usual. It is recommended that you practice your math skills because other MBA entrance examinations will not allow you to utilize an on-screen calculator.
