SECTIONAL AND OVERALL CUTOFFS
To be admitted to IIM Indore, a general and an Economically Weaker Section (EWS) candidate must have a minimum percentile score of 90, with a minimum percentile score of 80 in each of QA, DILR, and VARC.
A candidate for OBC (Non-Creamy) should have an overall percentile of 80 and a percentile score of 70 in each section. An SC applicant must have a minimum percentile of 60 overall and 55 in each section.
A candidate from a minority (ST) or with a disability (PWD) should have a percentile score of at least 50 overall and 45 per section.
This, however, does not guarantee a spot on the interview shortlist. When shortlisting for the second round, they give only 20% weightage to one’s CAT score, 34% to one’s class 10 score, and 40% to one’s class 12 score. Diversity is weighted at 6% in the composite score, which determines which candidates advance to the next round.
