WHY DIFFERENT?
Factual Group Discussions should be handled in a completely different manner. As the
the name implies, they rely heavily on facts, such as the fact that candidates should make no
unnecessary assumptions and that no fabrication would help them survive this challenge.
HOW SHOULD ONE ANSWER THEM ?
- As a result, it is recommended that the candidates be well-read. A high level of general
awareness is required. It is critical to quote accurate data to earn brownie points from
the panelists. - To prepare effectively, one should place a premium on having a thorough understanding
of current events. - One publication should not be consulted, and different resources should be used so that
one does not appear biased and has a wide range of perspectives to move the discussion
forward. - It is important to avoid repeating information that has already been presented. Reading
opinions would be extremely beneficial in presenting a point of view in a structured manner
that would be well received by everyone in the group as well as the panel.
