How to Approach General Knowledge section in IIFT entrance?

The General knowledge section of the IIFT exam is a gamechanger for many students. There are 20 questions in this section. A high score in this section can prove to be a differentiating factor as most of people try to just get the minimum cutoff marks in the section. The GK score is counted in the total score, thus putting in a little more effort would prove to be beneficial for candidates. The difficulty level of the GK section is a bit higher than the GK sections of other entrance exams. The questions are a mix of static as well as current affairs questions. Static questions refer to a statistic or fact-based questions while current affairs questions are related to happenings in and around the world. Static questions are mostly based on International Trade organizations foreign ministry and related bodies. Current affairs questions are related to Business, Trade relations and treaties between various countries.
