How is the interview experience for Analyst at JP Morgan?

Following is the interview experience of a candidate applying for the role of Analyst at JP Morgan.

The process was slightly different from the usual process. There was no Aptitude test. The process works out as follows -

Round - I (Group Discussion)

The candidate has to sit through three different GD processes. The candidates are being rejected or removed after each round.

The topics were mostly related to industry topics or current news.

Round - II (Technical interview)

The candidate is then asked to sit through a technical interview round. Where they have been asked some industry-specific questions listed below -

  • Difference between cheque and demand draft?
  • Other questions are based on the candidate’s past experience relevant to the job role.

Round - III (HR Interview)

The candidate is then invited for an HR interview round. The candidates are asked basic questions related to -

  • Academics
  • Past internship experience
  • Job expectations
  • Other Hygiene (HR) Questions.

The interview barely stays for 15-30 minutes.

Result - Not selected for the role.
