History of cybersecurity?

Origin
In the 1970s, researcher Bob Thomas developed Creeper, a computer software that could roam throughout the ARPANET network, leaving a breadcrumb trail wherever it went. Ray Tomlinson, the creator of email, created Reaper, a software that tracked down and eliminated Creeper. Reaper was the first computer worm, as it was the first example of antivirus software and the first self-replicating programme.

Current scope
The cybersecurity sector is developing at breakneck pace. According to Statista, the worldwide cybersecurity industry is expected to reach $345.4 billion by 2026. Ransomware is one of the most prevalent dangers to a company’s data security, and its prevalence is expected to grow.
