LogoutR is a prominent open-source statistical analysis platform. Tableau Desktop now has the ability to connect to R via calculated fields and use R functions, libraries, and packages, as well as stored models. These computations call the R engine dynamically and provide values to R via the Reserve package, which are then returned to Tableau. Through the tabadmin utility, Tableau Server may be set to connect to an instance of Rserve, allowing anybody to view a dashboard with R capabilities.
