Explain Green Tech?

Green Technology is a broad phrase that refers to the application of science and technology to develop environmentally friendly goods and services. Green technology is connected to cleantech, which refers to goods or services that increase operational performance while lowering costs, decreasing energy usage, reducing waste, or mitigating negative environmental consequences.
Green technology aims to safeguard the environment, correct previous environmental harm, conserve natural resources, and maintain the Earth’s natural resources. Green technology has also grown into a booming sector that is drawing massive sums of cash.
Green technology adoption can be a stated aim of a business sector or a corporation. These objectives are usually included in a company’s environmental, sustainability, and governance (ESG) statement or even in the mission statement. Socially conscious investors are increasingly limiting their investment options to firms that employ people with disabilities. According to a United Nations study issued in 2018, worldwide investment in renewable energy and green technology processes exceeded $200 billion in 2017; since 2004, $2.9 trillion has been invested in solar and wind power.
