Inventory management is very important to all product based companies, monitoring inventory is very important it will give you a idea about what materials are you short of, if this question pops up in interview be calm and say that first i will look that what is the amount of shortage and will contact a supplier as soon as possible and convince him to deliver a rush order of supplies if possible.
