Writing F1 score or AUC score in resume

I often see resumes where people have written F1scores and AUC scores in their resume. Do you think you can impress someone with these values? In my opinion, it’s not important what score you got, but how you manage to reach the best possible model from the given data set. Your final score is no indication of that. Instead elaborate on techniques such RFE, feature engineering, data balancing, ensembling etc.
