Generally, unsupervised learning algorithms are those which doesn’t have any intentional target feature. Target features are present only in supervised learning.
Clustering algorithms doesn’t expect the target feature. Hence, they come under unsupervised learning.
Note - They are not called unsupervised learning. They come under the category of unsupervised learning.
