Which is essential: the number of engagements or the likes/followers?
The more relevant and real your followers are, the better the engagement from them will be. Similarly, the reach of your audience is more important than how many people comprise that audience.
As one source puts it, “Likes are good but followers are better. Likes increase numbers but followers mean content consumption.”
A high engagement rate means that the potential reach of your brand is much greater. Instead of worrying about trying to get more people to like your page, you should work harder on trying to get them to engage with your content more on Facebook.
