Which is better for career growth - PWC vs ACCENTURE?

PWC vs ACCENTURE

  1. Both names are associated with very prestigious employers, and work experience with either of them would carry roughly the same weight.

  2. Furthermore, it is determined by the type of position you hold. Accenture is better known for IT consulting, whereas PWC specializes in Assurance, Tax, and Advisory.

  3. It doesn’t matter if your role in both is the same IT consulting. However, if your role at Accenture is more supervisory/managing than your current role at PWC, then moving to Accenture is a better option.
Then there’s a question of whether it would be a long gap if taking six years before getting an MBA. I’d say two to three years is ideal.

  4. The B schools are unconcerned about the size of the brand. Being associated with a well-known brand, on the other hand, lends credibility to your work experience. PWC and Accenture are popular brands that have gained recognition in their respective fields, so I don’t think there’s any special significance attached to either.
