PWC vs ACCENTURE
-
Both names are associated with very prestigious employers, and work experience with either of them would carry roughly the same weight.
-
Furthermore, it is determined by the type of position you hold. Accenture is better known for IT consulting, whereas PWC specializes in Assurance, Tax, and Advisory.
-
It doesn’t matter if your role in both is the same IT consulting. However, if your role at Accenture is more supervisory/managing than your current role at PWC, then moving to Accenture is a better option.
Then there’s a question of whether it would be a long gap if taking six years before getting an MBA. I’d say two to three years is ideal. -
The B schools are unconcerned about the size of the brand. Being associated with a well-known brand, on the other hand, lends credibility to your work experience. PWC and Accenture are popular brands that have gained recognition in their respective fields, so I don’t think there’s any special significance attached to either.
