LogoutIf you are a member of the SC or ST categories, your caste or tribe must be included in the Government of India’s schedule. Visit the Ministry of Tribal Affairs’ website (tribal.nic.in) or the Ministry of Social Justice for further information. The caste certificate that is supplied in the CAT application form must be in the format that has been approved by the government. The certificate can also be found on CAT’s official website. Candidates must download and print the certificate, which contains the following information.
- Caste name/ tribe
- Whether one belongs to the Scheduled caste or scheduled tribe.
- State and district or Union Territory of candidates ordinary residence.
- The appropriate GOI schedule under which candidates caste/ tribe is approved, whether Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe.
- Signature of required authorities.
