LogoutWebsites can be linked to other websites in two ways- dofollow links and and nofollow links. Both of these help in linking the origin site to the destination site. The dofollow links help in terms of SEO and when the authority is passed to the destination site from the origin site, it is termed as ‘link juice’. Since, each website is ranked according to the efficacy of the SEO, a dofollow backlink helps in improving the domain rating of a website. A nofollow link however, does not pass the authority from the origin site to the destination site. I order to check whether the link is a dofollow or a nofollow one, the HTML code has to be checked while inspecting the link in the browser. Usually, while backlinking, a mix of both dofllow and nofollow links are used based on relevance and SEO benefits to be provided to the destination site.
