What is the difference between a UX and UI designer?

User Experience (UX) Designers are tasked with generating websites, applications, and other products and services that follow potential customers through their online journey with the firm. They focus on the product’s design, usability, function, branding and marketing and identify new opportunities for the product and business. Their work helps the companies to improve sales, retain existing customers and acquire new customers. User Interface (UI) Designers on the other hand focus on maximising usability and the user experience by designing app and website layouts for machines, software and appliances such as computers, mobile devices and other devices.
