Infosys is a multinational IT consulting firm that offers end-to-end services in business consulting, information technology, and outsourcing, allowing clients in various industries to improve their company performance.

If you want to join this multinational firm, a candidate must go through the company’s placement process.

Following are the stages of the placement process of Infosys Ltd :

  1. Online Assessment
  2. Technical Interview
  3. HR Interview

Online Assessment

The online assessment contains three different sections with a set time limit and a sectional cut-off. The sections are as follows:

  • Logical and Analytical Reasoning : This section comprises difficult questions ranging from easy to moderate on data sufficiency, data interpretation, visual reasoning, statement reasoning, syllogism, and other related topics.
  • Quantitative Aptitude : This part contains questions on time, permutation and combination, speed and distance, number series, analytical puzzles, formulae, algebra, probability, and other topics, with a moderate to high difficulty level.
  • Verbal Ability : Synonyms, antonyms, fill-in-the-blanks, paragraph completion, sentence correction, vocabulary, and other tasks will be included in this round.

Technical Interview

You will be summoned for a Technical interview if you pass the online assessment test. Candidates are frequently asked questions based on their resumes and areas of interest during this phase.

You need to have a understanding of at least one programming language, computer principles such as operating systems, data structures, and algorithms, and understanding of the new developing technologies to achieve a good grade in this round. You must choose and prepare for a field of interest directly related to the job.

Your problem-solving abilities may be judged during this stage, involving puzzles and aptitude tests. Also, be prepared to respond to queries about your projects/internships.

HR Interview

If you pass the technical interview, you will be invited to the HR interview stage. The goal is to check whether or not you are the best fit for the firm.

The range of questions here is broad, including anything from your background and schooling to your hobbies and even your outlook on life!

You must be prepared to answer questions about the Infosys company.

Also, be prepared to answer any questions posed to determine your seriousness in applying for the job.
