Spam score in SEO is a metric for evaluating the likelihood that a given web page or webpage profile contains questionable material.
A spam score of 1 indicates that there is no evidence of manipulation, such as a black hat or gray keywords, on the webpage in question. A spam score of 10 indicates widespread spamming throughout the website, including aggressive linking and all other black hat strategies. A spam score closer to 100 indicates one single instance; a profile with only one suspicious item set to 100% will have a high spam score without necessarily being an indication of abuse. All individual items are rated at zero, and then aggregated into an overall range from 0-100%.
