What is SERP?

SERP stands for Search Engine Results Pages, and it is the main page that Google displays when you perform a search. It contains a list of results it thinks are most relevant to your search.

The SERP can be influenced by various factors such as location, the time of year, what site they last visited before clicking on Google’s adverts, or whether they have searched previously for a specific term. The SEO community spends much of their time trying to get their websites onto the first page of SERPs so that people will find them and visit their sites and services instead of someone else’s.
