Our Advisor Development Program is a rotating program for those who want to make a difference in the world but don’t necessarily have prior financial services experience.

You’ll have access to all of the information, tools, resources, and connections you’ll need to expand your network connections and launch a successful career in our field.

You’ll be backed up by a team of advisers from across our business who come from various backgrounds, have a wide range of experience, and have a growing client base.

Experience

Before becoming a financial advisor, you’ll move through three separate rotations (Licensing, Relationship Banker, and Private Client Banker), allowing you to have a comprehensive grasp of JP Morgan Wealth Management company and organization.

You’ll begin with banker training before taking industry examinations and obtaining licenses.

After that, you’ll work as a Relationship Banker and a Private Client Banker.

The curriculum combines classroom instruction with one-on-one mentorship, distance learning, and e-learning, providing hands-on experience.

While job shadowing and attending live customer meetings, you’ll be exposed to our technology solutions.

Your mentorship team will provide you with ongoing support to help you become ingrained in our culture, progress professionally, and expand your client network.

Training

You will gain fundamental and technical knowledge throughout the curriculum.

You must first pass the Securities Industry Essential Exam, Series 7, Series 66, and Life and Health Insurance licenses, all of which are needed by FINRA.

Your manager will train you daily, and your market leaders will regularly provide you with one-on-one mentorship.

You’ll continue to hone your investment skills, gain access to global thought leaders and mentors, and advance your career.

You’ll be ready to become a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) after completing your program, exhibiting industry competence, trustworthiness, and a dedication to the highest standards in personal financial counseling.

Career progression

After completing the program’s final phase, you’ll start working as a Financial Advisor .

We’ll put you up for success; as a branch employee , you’ll continue to receive training and mentoring, as well as access to current and new clients.

As a program alum, you’ll have the chance to participate in Wealth Management leadership and diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts, and you’ll be prepared to become a Certified Financial Planner.
