What is DCM?
- DoubleClick Campaign Manager (DCM), now called Campaign Manager, is an ad server for generating ad tags and tracking digital ad campaigns.
- DCM helps advertiser or agencies to create tags or trackers by which they can track their campaign performance and status of delivery.
- It helps you manage your digital campaigns across websites and mobile. This includes a robust set of features for ad serving, targeting, verification, and reporting.
It’s an ad server by DoubleClick and it is today known as DoubleClick campaign manager. Back in the days before Google bought it, it was called DFA - DoubleClick for Advertisers.
Ad server is a tool used to host all ads and then the ad server serves the ad on the web pages. The reason this is done is to make sure advertisers have one place for all digital ad campaigns and have de duplicated ad reporting.
