Artificial intelligence ( AI ) refers to the simulation of human intelligence in machines that are programmed to think like humans and mimic their actions. The term may also be applied to any machine that exhibits traits associated with a human mind such as learning and problem-solving.
AI is the science of making computers behave in a way that resembles human reasoning. Artificial intelligence is about designing intelligent machines to solve real-world problems that are very difficult to solve with the human mind alone.

How do humans or animals power intelligence? They collect information from around their environment through their five senses. AI does the same through information in the form of a plethora of data. Artificial Intelligence describes when a machine can learn from information/data, which generates some degree of understanding and then uses the knowledge learned to arrive at a particular conclusion. AI includes machine learning and specific techniques such as deep learning as subsets.
