Analytics Experts are mainly tasked with sorting, organising and analysing the data gathered to find a relationship between the business objectives and the data metrics. They then consult the organisation on a marketing analytics strategy specific to the industry and organisation’s key performance indicators. They also deliver a plan for the analytics infrastructure, including the platform itself, the cloud for data storage, and tools for analysis. They may also set up a reporting system along with clear timeframes, performance metrics and dimensions using visualizations on a dashboard. Lastly, they support the firm’s existing data team with their needs and provide specific digital marketing related insights.
