TCS follows a 5 day work week and the candidates have to work for nearly 8-9 hours which changes with the requirements of the project. Some employees also need to work on weekends for important deadlines and deliverables.
TCS employees generally undergo training for nearly a year in form of a Graduate Engineer trainee wherein they need to report at 9 am and then be present for the training program in the first part of the day after which they are assigned tasks which they have to complete throughout the day and have submitted the work done before signing off. A typical day at the TCS office would be around 8-9 hours. With the seniority, these working hours may get extended as the executives are managing a team.
