What are the required qualifications for a Human Resource Manager?

In general, most Indian universities only offer postgraduate education in this specialized field of study.

A bachelor’s degree (10+2+3 pattern) holder in any discipline from a recognized university with at least 50 percent marks in aggregate is required to pursue a course in Human Resource Management.

The minimum mark for SC/ST/OBC can be 45 percent. The candidates’ aptitude and suitability for this specialized field are assessed during the selection process, which includes an entrance examination.

The majority of government-recognized institutions hold a common entrance exam. The test consists of questions concerning English, Reasoning, General Science, and General Knowledge.

After the test, there will be a group discussion and an interview.

Apart from the necessary requirements, HR should possess the right set of soft skills like outgoing and compassionate personality. They should also be able to handle concerns with staffing, such as resolving conflicts and managing disciplinary procedures.
