During BA interviews, several questions may be asked. I’ve put together a list of questions that can be quite useful in preparing for an interview.
- What can you tell me about yourself?
- How do you deal with a situation where you’ve recently been hired as a BA, and there are no documents? So, what exactly do you do?
- Why are you interested in working here?
- In what ways do you believe you can contribute to our organization? What qualifications do you have for this position?
- Why did you leave your previous position?
- What aspects of your former job did you enjoy the most and dislike the most?
- What would your previous boss have to say about you?
- What are your greatest strengths and weaknesses, in your opinion?
- Tell me about your most recent project, your contribution, and the end result?
- Give me an example of a difficulty you had on the job and how you dealt with it.
- How do you deal with a non-feasible requirement?
- How well do you collaborate with others? Do you prefer to work alone or in a group?
- BA prepares Screen Mock-ups at which stage of the project? What is he going to do with them?
- As a BA, what artifacts (documents) did you produce?
- Describe a time when working as part of a team yielded better outcomes than completing the assignment on your own.
