What are the different lookup cache(s)?

Lookups in Informatica can be cached or uncached (no cache). A static or dynamic lookup can be cached. A static cache is one that does not change the cache after it is created and stays the same during the session. A cache, on the other hand, is updated during a session by adding or modifying entries in the cache based on the incoming source data.

Informatica cache is set to static by default. A lookup cache may also be classified as persistent or non-persistent, depending on whether Informatica keeps the cache or deletes it when the session runs out.
