Technical Artists - People who use technology to bring a visual tale to life on paper - 2D/3D, rigging, modelling, VFX, and so on. This necessitates a strong understanding of graphics and computer science.
You can choose the sector you want to work in based on your interests and capabilities. In each of these areas, especially creativity, you’ll need a large portfolio to show off your work.
