A data analyst collects, processes, and performs statistical analyses on a large dataset. They figure out ways to use data to answer questions and solve problems. Data analysis has progressed significantly due to technology advancements and an ever-increasing push toward technological integration.
But, what are some skills they need to perform all these jobs and work and excel in their respective fields? Following are some skills required by them:
- SQL Database: A SQL database is a relational database containing structured data. Tables store information and data analysts pull data from numerous tables to perform analysis.
- Database Query Language: SQL is the most frequent query language used by data experts, and it comes in a variety of flavors, including PostgreSQL, TSQL, and PL/ SQL (Procedural Language / SQL).
- Data mining, cleansing, and tampering: DA will have to collect unstructured data with additional methods if the data isn’t saved correctly in the database. Please clean it up and run it through programming once you’ve gathered enough data.
