Machine learning has found applications in various domains. They can be used on a variety of problems involving images, text, videos, audio etc. In fact it will be tough to find domains in which it cannot be implemented, than finding ones in which it can be!
At a time where newsrooms are being inundated with fake news, what better tool to use than ML to solve such a complex problem. ML could arguably be used to find topics in journalism that would more interest the journal’s readers. When you write an article, Ml can be used to suggest appropriate suggestions for words as well as correct spellings and grammatical mistakes(much more efficient than a dictionary based spelling corrector). Ml could be used to rate articles and hence publish the better ones.
