What are observables in Angular?

An observable is a declarative method for completing asynchronous activities. Observables can be compared to data streams that travel from a publisher to a subscriber. Because they both deal with asynchronous requests, they are comparable to promises. Observables, on the other hand, are thought to be a superior alternative to promises since they have more operators, allowing developers to better deal with asynchronous requests, especially if there are several requests at the same time.
Many developers like observables because they enable them to execute numerous operations such as combining two observables, mapping one observable to another, and even feeding several actions through an observable to alter its data.
