What about “breakable rules” of resume writing?

Generally one is supposed to make one page resume but this rule can be avoided if in case a person has a lot of important info to be mentioned. In this case a person should mention more important info in first page and less relevant on second.
Moreover a person need to mention recent information on resume but the old info is relevant for the job then you can mention that(it should not be very old).
For example there are five projects that you have made, then instead of mentioning recent project you find that 1one is more relevant to be mentioned the you can break this rule
