What is the f1 score?

The F1 score is the harmonic mean of the precision and recall, where an F1 score reaches its best value at 1 (perfect precision and recall).

F1-score evaluation metric is :

It is harmonic mean of Precision and Recall. It ranges from 0 to 1. It can only be a high value (closer to 1), if both Precision and recall are high (closer to 1).

High value of F1 score are due to low numbers of False Negative and False Positive. Low values of FN and FP reduces business costs and results in greater returns thus, resulting the high profit.

So,higher the F1 score better the model
