How to use the Analytics Pane in Tableau?

Options for adding Analytics objects to the view are accessible through Tableau Desktop’s Analytics pane or menu, or in context within the view. When editing an axis, for example, reference lines and bands are available, while trend lines and forecasts are available through the Analysis menu.

  • Go to the tools in the Analytics pane if you want to add more features to your display.
  • Click the Analytics tab at the top of the Data window.
  • You may use tools to quickly give your data meaning.
