How to prepare for the Group Discussion round of selection?

The Group Discussion round of the selection process tests the candidates’ ability to think and act on their feet, their knowledge of various domains, and their articulation skills.

  • In order to prepare well for the Group Discussion round, the candidate should keep themselves up to date with the current affairs and formulate their own opinions about the prevailing pressing issues. This will help them differentiate their points from the other participants.

  • To increase their domain knowledge, the candidate should start reading with the topic they are comfortable in and move on to the one they find challenging or confusing. This will help them in increasing their ambit of understanding of various domains.

  • For thinking on their foot, the candidate should enroll and take part in mock GDs at least two months before the selection process begins. this will help improve the articulation skills and have a structured thought process than the other candidates.
