- Using the STAR (Situation, Task, Action, Reaction) method – STAR methodology will help an individual in organizing their thoughts in order to give a clear picture to the interviewer. If an interviewer asks for a previous incident that has taken place, this method can give a direction to the interviewee.
- Research some commonly asked questions on Cyber Security - To assess your proficiency, many interviewers will ask you some fundamental cybersecurity interview questions. If you do some research on cybersecurity interview questions, you’ll be prepared to respond if you’re asked them. It offers the interviewer more trust that you know what you’re talking about.
- Know one’s resume – The candidate should be well-versed with each point mentioned in their resume. The interviewer should not be doubting them on their credentials.
- Do not be afraid to ask questions – The interviewee should not be afraid to ask questions to the interviewer if they haven’t grasped a question in its entirety.
