To master any section, a candidate must start by planning a preparation schedule. Since the syllabus of quants is practically what we have studied from the sixth to the tenth standard – arithmetic, algebra, geometry, mensuration, modern math, number system, it is essential that the basics of the candidate are thorough.
-
After completing the basics and concepts of each topic, the candidate should move on to finding the shortcuts of solving a particular type of question.
-
After this, the candidate should focus on solving topic tests for understanding the different patterns of questions that can be asked from a particular topic and then move on to sectional tests. Sectional tests will help the candidate in understanding their weak points and study that topic again.
-
Post this, the candidate should move on to solving mock tests and ensure that they are capitalizing on their strong points and not succumbing to the fatigue (since it is the last section in the exam).
-
Lastly, the individual can also solve the previous year’s question papers before the D-day.
