How to create a dependent dropdown list for another dropdown list in excel such that we have the drop-down influenced by the selection in another drop-down accordingly show the list.ex: dropdown to choose country, based on this dropdown to choose state, based on country.

Follow the following steps to apply Data Validation feature to a Particular Cell and create drop down list (LOV)

Select one Cell or more Cells where you want to create LOV

On the Data tab, in the Data Tools group, click Data Validation

On the Settings tab, Select the Validation Criteria, like in the Allow box, select List.

In the Source box, type the values, separated by commas, OR simply add a cells range where you have already entered all the desired values for LOV

In the Input Message tab, add the Title and message for the user

Press OK
