Confidence during the interview is primarily a function of the candidate’s level of preparation and knowledge of his/her domain, functional area and practical experience. Appearance and body language do matter; however, the ability to listen carefully to the questions posed and to respond thoughtfully can increase confidence.
One must be able to express views clearly and articulate ideas in a simple and lucid manner.
