How long does it take to learn Data Science?

By dedicating 6–7 hours every day, you may study Data Science foundations in about 6–9 months. However, becoming an “excellent data scientist” who can contribute value to a company in a high-level capacity will take years.

The truth is that it’s a long, arduous, and difficult road that takes a great deal of patience, attention, focus, and hard work. While you may study data science by just putting your head down and getting to work, excitement and a realistic view of data science are the only things that will keep you from giving up.

Don’t be discouraged if someone tells you that mastery isn’t a race and that you need to study everything in the field and then some. All of these components will be necessary, from the fundamentals to programming, machine learning, statistics, database technologies, and a range of other domain-specific technologies, and there will be no way to skip ahead in the learning process.
