How is work culture of Mu-Sigma?

The reviews of the current or ex-employees for the work culture of Mu-Sigma are unpleasant and unsatisfactory in many ways.

Some of the highlights of the reviews are as follows:

Working Bonds

Because the corporation was experiencing more than 40% turnover each year, it devised an irrational bond for new hires.

Many other corporations have a bond, but their application is a little too extreme.

If you join, you will be offered a bonus of Rs 5 lacs, and if you leave within three years, you would be required to repay those five lacs and give a six-month notice period.

Extremely Rigid rules

  • Dress code: This is true not only for Mu Sigma but also for many other businesses. They have a strict dress code, which I believe is unnecessary for a firm like Mu Sigma because if you force your employees (at least most of them) to work 12-14 hours a day, you should at least allow them to wear something they are comfortable in.
  • No exceptions in work timings: Work hours, which are 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. for 90% of employees, remain unchanged, with no exceptions allowed.
